Staff Software Engineer

• Lead the technical direction, architecture, and long-term evolution of Android applications
• Guide the Android chapter through standards, mentoring, reviews, and technical decision-making
• Propose scalable modular solutions supporting multiple teams and a growing product
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Infrastructure, and other Staff-level partners
• Drive modernization initiatives, manage technical debt, and improve developer experience
• Translate product strategy and complex requirements into clear technical approaches
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives and multi-quarter technical roadmaps

• Experienced and visionary Staff Android Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications at scale
• Deep expertise in Kotlin, MVVM, MVI, clean architecture, and modular app architecture
• Strong experience with coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Room, and Hilt
• Proven ability to define architecture, technical standards, and reusable platform solutions
• Ability to improve app performance, memory usage, stability, build times, and responsiveness
• Excellent communication skills in English, including technical documentation and stakeholder alignment
• Understanding of mobile analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing
• 8+ years of Android development experience or equivalent demonstrated Staff-level impact
• Demonstrated experience leading architecture decisions, large migrations, or platform-wide initiatives
• Focus on scalability, maintainability, developer experience, and long-term platform health
• Experience working in agile teams with planning, estimation, technical prioritization, and iterative delivery
• Nice-to-have: Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
• Nice-to-have: Experience with CI/CD, automated testing strategy, and mobile release processes
