Data Analyst

• Handle and investigate requests related to data, reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Analyze questions, inconsistencies, and discrepancies involving data and business rules
• Perform queries, validations, and investigations in databases using SQL
• Support business teams in interpreting and using the available information
• Navigate and validate information in dashboards using Power BI
• Communicate analysis results clearly and accessibly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Perform small-scale automations, data processing, and data manipulation using Python when necessary
• Identify recurring requests and opportunities to improve reports, data, and documentation
• Organize and track activities, priorities, and potential blockers
• Work alongside other technology and data professionals on situations requiring deeper technical analysis

• Professional experience in data analysis
• Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to perform data queries and investigations
• Knowledge of Power BI, particularly for navigating, analyzing, and validating information
• Analytical skills and an investigative mindset to identify the causes of discrepancies or issues
• Ability to understand business rules and relate them to data
• Clear communication skills for interacting with different audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
• Organization and autonomy in managing requests and priorities
• Interest in developing and deepening knowledge in Data & Analytics
• Knowledge of Python for small-scale automations, analyses, or data manipulation
• Knowledge of or experience with Databricks
• Familiarity with Data Lake and Lakehouse concepts
• Experience with Jira or other request-management tools
• Experience in industries with extensive use of data, KPIs, and business rules
• Previous experience in the insurance or insurance brokerage market is a plus
• Knowledge of products, processes, KPIs, or rules related to the insurance industry
• Experience balancing support for business teams with data analysis and investigation
