Machine Learning Engineer III, Routing Cost

• Lead engineering teams in end-to-end feature implementation within the Navigation organization
• Design and build new machine learning and data pipelines
• Optimize existing machine learning and data pipelines
• Build tools for automated quality assurance and data exploration
• Use geospatial algorithms to optimize pipelines
• Create automated tuning and outlier detection algorithms
• Partner with data scientists to improve movement and traffic pattern models
• Mentor colleagues and participate in code and design reviews
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system availability 24/7

• 8-10+ years of backend and ML experience
• Extensive experience with Python
• Experience with distributed processing pipelines, including Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and Dask
• Experience working with very large datasets, including statistical analysis, data quality control, and storage optimization
• Extensive experience with cloud and infrastructure services and deploying/managing cloud infrastructure
• Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams
• Strong written and vocal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with security, DevOps, data, compliance, and product teams
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including possible weekend and after-hours responses
