Senior Solutions Architect

• Serve as a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects and customers
• Explain how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives
• Guide organizations through digital transformation across the software development lifecycle
• Lead technical discovery, demos, validation, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy on account strategies, customer acquisition, and expansion
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders
• Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices
• Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
• Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral
• Invest in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing

• Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation
• Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies
• Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments
• Clear technical communication and presentation skills
• Skill in building trusted relationships and acting as a customer advocate
• Experience within MEA region
• Arabic/English speaking is required
• Ability to travel at least 25%
