QA Test Analyst, Playwright

• Review business requirements and acceptance criteria
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Validate insurance workflows and customer journeys
• Identify, document, and manage defects through Jira
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and release activities
• Maintain and execute existing automated test suites
• Assist in developing new automation scripts
• Participate in automation initiatives using FitNesse, Playwright, Selenium, and API automation tools
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort
• Support shift-left testing approaches
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to prevent defects early
• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes
• Help establish reusable test assets across products and projects
• Contribute to test data management activities
• Execute performance and load test activities using JMeter
• Validate integrations between internal and third-party systems
• Support API and interface testing activities
• Assist with root cause analysis of production issues
• Experiment with and adopt emerging AI-assisted and next-generation testing technologies

• 5 years software testing experience
• Experience executing manual test cases
• Strong understanding of software testing principles
• Experience with Jira and Agile delivery environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with Australian stakeholders
• Preferred: Experience with automation testing
• Preferred: Exposure to FitNesse, Selenium, or Playwright
• Preferred: API testing experience
• Preferred: SQL and database validation skills
• Preferred: Experience working on SaaS products
• Preferred: Experience with offshore or distributed teams
• Insurance industry experience is advantageous
• Current state skills: Functional Testing; Regression Testing; UAT Support; Jira; Confluence; FitNesse; JMeter; API Testing; SQL Queries; AI Assisted Testing
• Future state skills: Playwright; Selenium; Test Automation Frameworks; AI-Assisted Testing; Prompt Engineering; CI/CD Pipelines; Azure DevOps; Git; Quality Engineering Practices; Continuous Testing
