Commercial Manager

About the role

• Lead, support, and develop the field sales team covering the southern half of France, comprising four field sales representatives responsible for key and strategic accounts
• Provide clear direction, develop skills, and manage individual and team performance
• Define and implement the sales strategy for the southern region with the Sales Director
• Analyze market developments and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Establish and continuously improve sales methods and processes
• Drive customer retention and growth across the team’s client portfolios
• Support sales representatives in managing their accounts and coordinate responses with internal departments
• Lead prospecting and new customer acquisition across the southern region
• Support the acquisition of new accounts, particularly major accounts
• Monitor opportunities and support high-potential deals
• Track the team’s performance indicators
• Manage reporting, analysis, and forecasting of commercial activity across the territory
• Identify gaps, adjust priorities, and refine sales initiatives
• Manage field sales representatives based in Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulon, and Lyon, covering the southern region

• Strong experience in sales management, gained in a B2B services environment
• Proven experience managing and leading sales teams
• Ability to support teams, structure activities, and improve performance
• Comfortable working with demanding stakeholders and able to build lasting relationships with high-stakes clients
• Business development mindset
• Strong command of B2B prospecting
• Ability to convert opportunities into commercial results
• Comfortable managing performance and analyzing results
• Ability to define sales priorities
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with the company’s various departments
