Senior SSIS Developer

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages for enterprise ETL and data integration
• Develop ETL solutions to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems
• Support and enhance existing SSIS interfaces and integrations
• Troubleshoot SSIS package failures, data issues, and production incidents
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects
• Integrate data from SQL Server, Oracle, flat files, CSV/Excel files, and SFTP locations
• Implement error handling, logging, auditing, notifications, and restart/recovery mechanisms
• Schedule and monitor SSIS jobs using SQL Server Agent
• Perform SSIS package and SQL query performance tuning for high-volume data processing
• Conduct impact analysis, effort estimation, code reviews, and technical documentation
• Support deployments across development, UAT, and production environments
• Provide L2/L3 production support, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes for recurring issues
• Collaborate with functional teams, application teams, DBAs, and business stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required

• 7–9 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in SSIS and SQL Server
• Strong experience in ETL development, data integration, and data migration
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, joins, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SSIS Data Flow Tasks, Control Flow Tasks, Lookup, Merge, Conditional Split, Derived Column, Execute SQL Task, Script Task, and File System Task
• Knowledge of SSIS configurations, parameters, variables, connection managers, and deployment models
• Experience implementing logging, exception handling, audit controls, and failure/restart mechanisms
• Experience with SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduling
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support experience
• Experience with SSIS integration with Oracle and heterogeneous data sources
• Experience with SFTP and automated file-based integrations
• Git, Azure DevOps, or other source-control and CI/CD tools
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to independently resolve complex technical and production issues
• Effective coordination with technical, functional, business, and client teams
• Strong ownership and accountability
