Medical Billing Specialist – Chiropractic Practice

• Prepare, scrub, and submit clean claims to primary and secondary insurance payers via ChiroTouch
• Review rejected or denied claims and investigate root causes
• Post EOBs/ERA adjustments and submit appeals in a timely manner
• Handle incoming patient billing questions and outgoing calls using Intermedia VOIP
• Confirm chiropractic coverage, copays, deductibles, and pre-authorization requirements
• Assist with routine practice administration and patient chart maintenance
• Coordinate communication across front- and back-office teams

• Hands-on experience with chiropractic code sets, ledger workflows, and claim guidelines
• Advanced hands-on navigation and billing workflow experience within ChiroTouch EMR
• Familiarity with Intermedia phone software for handling call queues and patient contact
• High level of precision in data entry, ledger reconciliation, and claim follow-ups
• Full-time contractor position, 40 hours per week
• Availability Monday through Friday, 9AM–6PM PST
