Lead Forward Deployed Engineer – Migration

• Lead scoping, architecture, and direction as the Forward Deployed Engineer team embeds with customers
• Lead modernization of customers' data and application ecosystems using the Snowflake AI Data Cloud
• Set architecture and direction for teams designing, building, and deploying software systems, tooling, and automation
• Build prototypes, contribute to feature development, and fix product problems
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to client teams on data management, analytics, AI/ML, and reporting/BI integration
• Design scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures on Snowflake
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient processing
• Analyze and optimize data models, queries, and data-processing workflows for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Champion Snowflake best practices
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern data integration tools and techniques
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and operational issues
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to help customers achieve business value and success with Snowflake

• Prior experience working with customers on complex, multi-faceted projects
• Prior experience delivering complex data-driven application migrations is a big plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java or C++
• Experience with developing AI/ML applications
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing and data lake concepts, and cloud data platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Ability to follow confidentiality and security standards and keep customer information secure and confidential
