Business Analyst, SAP Finance

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and requirements
• Leverage SAP Finance functional knowledge to analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and other technology teams
• Support requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation activities
• Participate in workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings
• Identify business process gaps and recommend solutions
• Support development and execution of test scenarios and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Assist with issue identification, analysis, and resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain project and requirements documentation
• Communicate project updates, requirements, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments
• Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI)
• Strong understanding of finance-related business processes and how they are supported within SAP
• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Experience working in complex enterprise or consulting environments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Financial Accounting, financial reporting, and integration between SAP Finance and other business functions
• Experience with SAP Finance / SAP FI, business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, functional analysis, business process analysis, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, UAT and testing support, problem solving, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration
• Must be able to provide meaningful overlap with Canadian working hours and work until at least 3:00 PM EST on a regular basis
