Fundraising Coordinator
About the role
• Lead the commercial team, set priorities, assign accounts and opportunities, and monitor individual and team targets
• Develop team members through hands-on coaching, participation in meetings, and review of approaches, proposals, and negotiations
• Structure and improve the sales process, establishing criteria for prospecting, qualification, stage progression, closing, renewals, and account expansion
• Monitor the CRM, sales pipeline, conversion rates, sales cycle, account portfolio, productivity, and revenue forecasts
• Support the development of proposals, sponsorship packages, and benefits, connecting projects with companies’ marketing and business objectives
• Take an active role in prospecting and lead strategic negotiations with major clients and partners
• Expand activities in sponsorships, events, culture, sports, wellness, and B2B services
• Integrate commercial activities with other departments and turn market insights into processes, materials, and sales messaging
• Promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence in research, prospecting, proposals, CRM, and sales analysis
• Lead the cultural shift toward marketing, bringing the team closer to the language and decision-making criteria used by brands
• Proven experience in B2B consultative sales, with direct involvement in negotiations and closing deals
• Significant track record selling sponsorships, services, or higher-value solutions to companies
• Experience leading and developing sales teams, including target management, routines, and performance management
• Ability to work strategically and hands-on, participating in meetings, proposals, and sales when necessary
• Strong command of CRM, pipeline management, sales metrics, and revenue forecasting
• Knowledge of marketing, brand experience, media, events, and sponsorship benefits
• Strong communication, influencing, organizational, and analytical skills, with the autonomy to build processes
• Practical use of artificial intelligence applied to sales management and processes
• Preferred: experience in sponsorship and marketing agencies, event production companies, or cultural and sports organizations
• Preferred: relationships with companies and decision-makers in marketing, brand, sustainability, and human resources
• Preferred: knowledge of tax incentive laws
• Fixed salary (independent contractor agreement)
• Variable compensation: team distribution of up to 5% of Net Fixed Revenue and up to 5% of the variable compensation generated from fundraising during the year, based on target achievement and applicable weights/proportions, paid in the following year
• Professional Development Policy: reimbursement of 50% to 100% of course/training costs, subject to relevance assessment and budget availability
