Commercial Manager
About the role
• Lead, support, and develop the field sales team covering the southern half of France, comprising four field sales representatives responsible for key and strategic accounts
• Provide a clear framework, develop skills, and manage individual and team performance
• Define and deploy the commercial strategy for the southern region with the Sales Director
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify development opportunities
• Establish and continuously improve sales methods and processes
• Lead customer retention and account growth across the southern half of France
• Support sales representatives in managing their accounts
• Lead prospecting and new customer acquisition across the southern region
• Define sales priorities and high-potential target accounts
• Support the team in winning new accounts, particularly major accounts
• Track opportunities and support high-potential bids and sales initiatives
• Monitor team performance indicators
• Oversee reporting, analysis, and forecasting of commercial activity in the region
• Identify gaps, adjust priorities, and adapt commercial initiatives
• Meet regularly with the team, customers, and partners across the southern region
• Strong experience in sales management, gained in a B2B services environment
• Proven experience managing and leading sales teams
• Ability to support teams, structure operations, and improve performance
• Comfortable working with demanding stakeholders
• Ability to build lasting relationships with high-stakes clients
• Business-development mindset
• Proficiency in B2B prospecting
• Ability to convert opportunities into commercial results
• Comfortable managing performance and analyzing results
• Ability to define sales priorities
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with the company’s various departments
• Annual salary paid over 13 months
