Senior Software Engineer

• Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend microservices, including core components of Félix's Chat Platform
• Build, deploy, and iterate on chatbot services and conversational interfaces for remittance services
• Design and manage infrastructure handling millions of daily requests with real-time messaging capabilities
• Develop backend services using industry standards and Google Cloud services
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams
• Use customer feedback and analytics to improve conversational experiences and chatbot effectiveness

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build, ship, and iterate on software applications with an emphasis on real-world impact
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures
• Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts
• Demonstrated experience building chatbots, conversational interfaces, or integrating natural language processing (NLP) tools
• Familiarity with chatbot frameworks such as DialogFlow, IBM Watson, or Rasa is a plus
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute actively with innovative ideas
• Experience or curiosity in Fintech is an added advantage; equivalent competencies will also be considered
