Senior Director, Medical Strategy Lead – Rheumatology

• Provide strategic medical and scientific subject matter expertise to IQVIA in Rheumatology
• Engage potential customers early
• Develop strategic proposals in response to RFPs
• Participate as a leader, medical director and subject matter expert in client proposal bid defense meetings
• Act as a consultant throughout the research and development lifecycle and duration of clinical trials
• Provide standalone independent customer solutions
• Collaborate across the organization to leverage IQVIA resources
• Formulate clinical development plans
• Execute the group strategy
• Lead the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence
• Work independently of the therapeutic area head

• Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting
• CRO-background candidates should have held a senior strategic role
• Significant expertise in Rheumatology
• Terminal degree (MD)
• Training in Rheumatology
• Practical knowledge in leading and managing execution of processes, projects and tactics within the research and development therapeutic area
• Board Certified – Rheumatology
• Must be able to travel nationally or internationally at least 20% of the time
• Exceptional business knowledge to drive organizational results
• Extensive business and industry expertise
