Full Stack Developer – Java, Angular

• Analyse functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design maintainable application components and contribute to architectural decisions
• Review existing code and perform code reviews
• Develop front-end website architecture and user interactions
• Develop back-end website applications and implement core business logic
• Apply secure development practices, including authentication, authorisation, secrets management, dependency management, secure logging, and sensitive-data handling
• Optimise web applications across browsers and devices and design responsive applications
• Design and develop REST and SOAP APIs
• Develop and maintain features across the full stack, including user interfaces, APIs, server-side logic, and database interactions
• Write clean, functional code and automated unit, integration, and appropriate end-to-end tests
• Use monitoring, structured logging, and tracing to diagnose issues
• Participate in deployment, release, and support activities
• Diagnose application, database, integration, and performance issues
• Compile and analyse data, processes, configuration, dependencies, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify improvements
• Debug, fix, and validate code changes
• Write technical documentation
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines and containerization
• Ensure coherent integration between front-end, back-end, API, database, and deployment components
• Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps, and security specialists

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs and server-side business logic
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript/TypeScript front-end framework, preferably Angular
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive web design
• Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
• Knowledge of SQL, JPA, data modelling, and query optimisation
• Practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment to containerised/cloud environments
• Experience designing and securing REST APIs using OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, with OpenAPI documentation
• Understanding of common web application security risks and mitigation techniques, including the OWASP Top 10
• Strong Git experience
• Experience with AI-assisted software-development tools
• Ability to apply security and cloud best practices
• Proficiency integrating front-end/back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to understand, speak, and write English; French is an additional asset
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Oracle Certified Professional Java Developer, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent recognised certification relevant to the proposed technology stack
