Solution, Fullstack Engineer – Python, JS

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end fullstack solutions using Python or Python and Java on the backend and JavaScript on the frontend
• Build and enhance responsive user interfaces and integrate them with backend services and APIs
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and application components
• Own technical solutions from requirements analysis and architecture design through implementation and deployment
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures, queries, functions, triggers, and views
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and AI-assisted coding practices
• Explore AI-driven automation and innovative engineering solutions
• Build rapid prototypes and validate technical concepts
• Participate in technical planning, solution design, testing, code reviews, and architectural discussions
• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and technical optimization
• Promote engineering best practices, clean code, maintainability, and modern software development standards
• Develop a banking application serving as a cross-asset post-trade execution platform for a leading financial group in Japan

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken
• 5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering
• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Practical experience with JavaScript and frontend development using React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Solid understanding of fullstack application architecture, frontend-backend integration, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimization, indexes, views, functions, and triggers
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and clean code practices
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
• AI-first mindset and openness to automation and emerging technologies
• Experience with CI/CD processes, version control systems, and modern software development practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and willingness to take ownership
• EU citizenship question is part of the application process
• Nice to have: banking, fintech, or financial services experience; AWS or other cloud platforms; Docker; Linux; TypeScript; microservices; event-driven systems; AI agents; architectural decision-making
