Operations Lead

• Operational responsibility for procurement, logistics, sales, and finance
• Ensure that goods are available at the required location on time
• Manage day-to-day operations from ordering and production through transportation, warehousing, and retail replenishment to online fulfillment
• Build scalable processes, systems, and partner structures across multiple countries, retailers, and channels
• Own forecasting and ordering across all channels
• Manage manufacturers while balancing product availability and working capital
• Manage freight, customs clearance, retail warehouses, online fulfillment, and Amazon FBA
• Design the European logistics and fulfillment setup based on costs, service levels, and error rates
• Ensure reliable retailer supply, including call-offs, delivery windows, displays, and complaints
• Define processes, KPIs, and tools
• Build customer operations tools, processes, and goodwill policies
• Translate recurring customer feedback into improvements

• Several years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics involving physical products
• Proven responsibility for goods, orders, inventory, or product availability
• Understanding of the interdependencies between forecasting, procurement, production, working capital, transportation, and sales
• Experience working with 3PLs and freight forwarders; international sourcing and retail supply experience is preferred
• Ability to turn unstructured processes into simple, scalable processes and document them
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong sense of ownership
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• A master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a comparable field is a plus, but not required
