Java Backend Developer

• Develop Java applications using Spring Boot
• Build and further develop microservices
• Develop and integrate REST APIs
• Optimize existing applications
• Ensure quality through testing and code reviews
• Develop modern backend solutions for banks and insurance companies
• Collaborate in agile teams
• Actively contribute to technical decision-making
• Thoughtfully integrate agentic AI and LLMs into sustainable software architectures
• Foster collaboration through code reviews, knowledge sharing, refactoring, and mutual support

• Several years of experience with Java enterprise applications
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, SonarQube, and containers
• Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and onboard new developers
• Ability to develop and improve software as part of a team
• Ability to explain complex business and technical topics clearly
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Open and empathetic communication style
• Willingness to take responsibility
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level)
