Senior Sales Manager – Nordics

About the role

• Deliver sales results against growth revenue targets through leadership and management of Account Executives
• Direct sellers to identify and execute winning opportunities, complete timely follow-up, and deliver excellent customer experiences
• Serve as a strategic leader on the North EMEA sales leadership team focused on the Nordics region
• Develop personalized coaching plans and provide regular performance feedback
• Mentor and encourage a growth mindset
• Identify and recruit top-performing sales talent
• Manage performance and disciplinary challenges
• Assess and set account territory priorities
• Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and adjust sales plans and forecasts
• Use data to monitor performance and identify trends or improvement areas
• Develop sales strategies and tactics aligned with company goals and customer needs
• Monitor seller outreach, deal pipeline, and deal quality
• Build relationships with internal teams, leadership, external customers, prospects, and partners
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration and ensure sales-team support and resources
• Foster teamwork, knowledge sharing, and best practices
• Encourage feedback and open communication

• 8+ years experience in a related role, including enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales
• 3+ years of progressive sales management experience, preferably in software or technology organizations
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
• Fluent in English and one or more Nordic languages
• Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model
• Proven sales track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota targets in field selling complex technology or software solutions
• Ability to provide deal support and guidance on large enterprise and mid-market accounts
• Ability to manage and coach a diverse team of sales professionals
• Exceptional communication skills and business acumen
• Executive presence with ability to communicate at the most senior level
• Ability to identify and understand influencers versus buyers and navigate sales-cycle nuances
• Ability to lead a team through multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
• Ability to negotiate pricing while retaining value
• Up to 30% travel
