Senior Backend Engineer – Node, TypeScript, AWS

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of backend microservices behind Torre de Control
• Lead the technical and product definition of new features
• Analyze problems, challenge scope, propose solutions, and take responsibility for outcomes
• Work with product, frontend, and QA to build features end-to-end
• Guide and mentor mid-level and junior engineers
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions
• Handle technical support and incident resolution for owned services
• Participate in the team's on-call rotation
• Close security vulnerabilities
• Improve service performance, scalability, and architecture

• 5+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript as the main stack
• Recent experience at startups or product scale-ups
• Experience balancing roadmap, support, and incidents
• Product experience defining what gets built and why
• Ownership of production microservices and on-call rotations
• Production experience with AWS, such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, or DynamoDB
• Experience integrating messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or SQS
• Experience mentoring or guiding mid-level and junior engineers
• Command of relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
• Knowledge of design patterns, unit and integration testing, SOLID, and clean code
• English proficiency at B2-C1 level minimum
