Senior Consultant, Employee Central – Benefits & Time
About the role
• Provide high-level support on multiple ongoing Employee Central projects
• Lead projects in requirements definition, business process improvement, quality assurance, risk management, end-user training, application configuration, and testing
• Provide consulting services to global organizations on HCM best practices
• Help clients migrate to SAP HCM Cloud solutions
• Conduct design workshops with clients
• Ensure high-quality solutions through system configuration that meet business requirements
• Facilitate successful integration between modules with team members
• Document system configuration and business processes
• Transfer knowledge to customers for ongoing maintenance and support
• Keep abreast of new SAP releases and features and remain a certified expert
• Work directly with clients with responsibilities varying by project
• Employee Central plus additional certifications in at least one of: Onboarding, EC Time, or EC Benefits
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as the lead consultant in SuccessFactors implementations
• Hands-on experience with all Data Models/templates and knowledge of XML
• Hands-on experience with MDF, foundation objects, associations, business rules, and workflows preferred
• Expertise in translations and language packs for template configuration and MDF preferred
• Understanding of how applications support business processes and ability to apply this knowledge to solve client business problems
• Strong best-practice consulting skills in SAP/SuccessFactors
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge, experience, and current SAP SuccessFactors certifications in one or more talent modules preferred
• Knowledge of EC Benefits or other benefits solutions such as SAP ECC HCM or BenefitFocus preferred
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors reporting tools including Canvas Reporting and People Stories preferred
• Knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors AI tools including Joule preferred
• Strong presentation and consulting skills
• Ability to share functional and technical knowledge and mentor other consultants
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex problems
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to grasp business concepts and configure applications accordingly
• Ability to multitask, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize conflicting demands with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective written and verbal communication with team members and customers
• Understanding of integration points with other HR systems and modules
