Backend Engineer – Mid-Senior, Business Onboarding & Setup

• Contribute to developing new features and maintaining existing systems
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code
• Participate in technical design decisions
• Refine processes and contribute to the product’s strategic direction
• Engage in and facilitate team ceremonies
• Improve team processes

• At least 3 years of experience working with PHP and developing codebases using Symfony or Slim
• Solid understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, and design patterns
• Understanding of core CI/CD principles, unit testing, and integration testing
• Product engineering mindset focused on problems, outcomes, and impact
• Bonus: experience implementing and optimizing secure authentication flows such as OAuth, OIDC, and JWT
• Bonus: experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Bonus: hands-on experience using AI tools for code generation, test creation, performance tuning, and debugging
• Bonus: experience with AWS services such as SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, ECS, and S3
• Bonus: familiarity with cryptography
• Bonus: familiarity with Kubernetes
• Tools/technologies: PHP 8, Golang, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, DynamoDB, Sentry, Grafana, Docker, Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Must be currently based in Poland and able to work from Poland
