Senior Farsi Linguistic QA Tester, Mac M-Series

About the role

• Conduct linguistic, stylistic, and functional QA on localized Farsi software interfaces and AI-generated content.
• Identify, log, and regress linguistic errors, visual layout glitches, and functional defects using standard issue-tracking workflows.
• Enforce project glossaries, style guides, and brand-specific localization standards.
• Validate localized content for cultural appropriateness, idiomatic precision, and suitability for the Farsi market.
• Provide constructive feedback and linguistic solutions to remote localization managers and QA leads in clear English.

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linguistic QA, software localization testing, proofreading, or professional translation (English into Farsi).
• Native fluency in Farsi with exceptional command of grammar, typography, and orthography.
• Professional-level written English skills.
• Active access to a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).
• Proven ability to differentiate between critical linguistic bugs, cosmetic layout defects, and preferential stylistic changes.
• Strong grasp of modern Farsi cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic expressions.
• Comfort navigating new software interfaces, following detailed testing guidelines, and reporting technical/linguistic bugs clearly in English.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote, independent contract work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify minor grammatical, formatting, and UI errors.
