Financial Accountant

About the role

• Own the entire financial reporting cycle for multiple European legal entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze the trial balance and financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and detailed review of the trial balance
• Manage cash and treasury activities
• Complete revenue and regulatory filings under US GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Manage outsourced payroll providers, local payroll, and monthly employer tax reporting
• Work with external providers on annual global transfer-pricing documentation by country
• Provide data for weekly, monthly, and forecast multi-currency working-capital requirements
• Complete monthly reporting requirements
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis
• Assist with audit and corporation-tax requirements and liaise with team leads
• Research and resolve discrepancies
• Support GL, AR, and AP teams
• Complete ad hoc projects
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure duties are completed accurately and on time

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Newly qualified or experienced candidates
• Strong financial accounting knowledge and robust experience preparing monthly financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS / FRS102
• Proficiency in Workday is advantageous
• Proficient MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and excellent knowledge of formulas
• Knowledge, understanding and application of EU VAT regulation and reporting
• Accounting qualification – newly qualified or experienced with 2–3 years of working in a similar environment
• Qualified Accountant
• Proven track record of experience in Accounts roles/functions
• Transfer pricing knowledge
• Ability to prioritize with a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and adherence to global deadlines
• Self-starter, organized, flexible, committed, enthusiastic, and able to take initiative

• Ability to work remotely; depending on location, this role could be 100% remote
