Web Analyst, Tracking Expert

About the role

• Plan tracking concepts for clients and design the necessary measures
• Take responsibility for the (server-side) Google Tag Manager setup across all projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues regarding Google Tag Manager
• Implement server-side tracking with Stape for clients
• Independently identify and resolve errors in tracking setups for new and existing clients
• Create tracking implementations for clients using Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity
• Conduct regular web analytics for clients and colleagues
• Create complex reports for external and internal Looker Studio dashboards using available data sources
• Support the Managing Director in the areas of web analytics and tracking, with the goal of taking over these responsibilities over time
• Further develop the data warehouse to enable better analysis
• Enhance internal data-warehouse-based tools using AI
• Provide reliable data for clients and performance marketing managers to support optimization
• Contribute to client support and internal team collaboration

• At least 2 years of practical experience in web analytics, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
• A strong agency background is preferred
• Highly proactive approach to work in a small team
• In-depth knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity
• Basic understanding of Google Ads and online marketing
• Willingness and ability to implement scripts and technical solutions
• Experience with server-side tracking and other SEA-specific tools is preferred
• Knowledge of attribution models, consent banner customization, and competitor analysis
• Customer-focused, independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
• Strong service orientation
• Strong data analysis and evaluation skills
• Ability to create meaningful dashboards and draw data-driven conclusions
• Confident presence and composed manner
• Strong communication skills
• A completed degree in business administration or a comparable field of study/training is a plus
• Fluent written and spoken German and English; German is mandatory
• Permanent residence in Germany
