Azure Operations Architect

• Own Azure and hybrid platform architectures, including landing zones, networking, identity, security, resilience, and recovery
• Advise customers on architecture, cost optimization, roadmaps, and technical decisions throughout the platform lifecycle
• Lead complex escalations and major incidents, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable architectural improvements
• Design hybrid environments across Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, Azure Arc/Azure Local, and hybrid identity and networking
• Define and review Infrastructure as Code, automation, reference architectures, and operational standards with engineering and service teams
• Act as the senior technical reference for the Romanian team
• Support customer workshops, presales, and transition into operations

• 5 years of Azure architecture and operations experience, including production environments
• Strong hybrid IT experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, Azure Arc/Azure Local, networking, and Entra ID
• Good knowledge of Azure landing zones, security, governance, backup, and disaster recovery
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Bicep/Terraform and Azure DevOps/GitHub
• Experience with managed services and customer advisory, including technical workshops, complex issues, and mentoring engineers
• Strong English skills
• Structured problem-solving
• Willingness to start around 06:00 EET
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rota
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany
• German (B2+) is a big plus
• Microsoft 365, Intune, Copilot, Power Platform, FinOps, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Entra Global Secure Access experience is a nice-to-have
• Certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-802, SC-300, or SC-500 are nice-to-have
