Partnerships Manager
About the role
• Execute and shape the go-to-market strategy for Australia and New Zealand
• Own the market budget and spend
• Manage relationships with football and rugby leagues, federations, associations, and governing bodies
• Renew and deepen partner relationships
• Build new national and state-level partnerships from initial contact through contract and execution
• Drive partner activations through events, seminars, workshops, and campaigns
• Achieve ARR and revenue targets through partner activations and sales enablement
• Present to partners’ clubs and members
• Map partner organisations and decision-making structures
• Travel to tournaments, conventions, and partner sites across Australia and New Zealand
• Provide market intelligence to headquarters and Copenhagen-based product and leadership teams
• Use AI for preparation, outreach, reporting, and productivity
• Report on pipeline, partner performance, and key metrics
• 3+ years in partner account management, partnerships, sales or marketing
• Sports or sports-tech background preferred
• Deep understanding of football and rugby in Australia and New Zealand
• Real network within football and rugby associations and governing bodies
• Track record of closing deals and managing long-term partner relationships
• Experience activating partnerships in the field and driving grassroots adoption
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Project management experience ideally
• Genuine use of AI tools to improve efficiency, output, and problem-solving
• Comfortable working autonomously and communicating across time zones
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Currently living in a well-connected area of Australia; Sydney preferred
• Full ownership of a market, including own region, partners, and budget
• Autonomy and freedom to find your own approach
