Junior Graphic Designer

• Learn and apply brand guidelines and values across print and digital design work
• Create engaging web designs, including email and page banners, infographics, and related materials
• Produce graphics and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create content for campaigns across various media platforms
• Design and edit brochures, promotional documents, and other marketing materials
• Produce and format templated PDFs for thought leadership articles
• Create and update fillable PDFs using Adobe Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint, and Creative Suite tools
• Edit, resize, and enhance images and staff photography using Adobe Photoshop
• Proofread and ensure correct English usage in short-form content
• Maintain accurate file naming, organization, and storage
• Support quality control and peer reviews
• Prioritize and organize design requests to meet deadlines
• Develop static and animated data visualizations using tools such as Flourish
• Collaborate with the Senior Designer, web agency, and Marketing teams

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects; other Adobe tools are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Figma experience is a must
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to interpret briefs and transform concepts into compelling visual executions
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience developing visual concepts and infographic design
• Basic animation skills
• Solid understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to remain self-motivated
• Creative mindset and ability to deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision
• 1.5+ years of relevant experience with a portfolio showcasing design capabilities
• Good Excel skills and some data visualization experience would be advantageous
• Legally authorized to live and work in South Africa without employer sponsorship
