Senior Account Executive
About the role
• Obtain new business and customer expansion sales opportunities from executive-level buyers and influencers
• Sell Workiva’s core platform and collaborate with other Workiva Solution Sales teams on multi-solution sales
• Build relationships and identify Workiva products and solutions that meet customer needs
• Drive customer acquisition across an assigned territory in Belgium
• Generate qualified sales pipeline with peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships
• Conduct needs analysis and deliver compelling Workiva platform demonstrations
• Address customer objections, remove obstacles, and solve client challenges
• Lead sales processes through close by showcasing Workiva’s value proposition
• Update customer relationship management tools with customer contacts
• Analyze pipeline and provide accurate forward-looking sales forecasts
• Develop and execute sales strategies to secure sales
• Rally internal support and optimize internal resources for accounts
• Prioritize selling activities and ensure timely follow-through
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and a growth mindset
• Share knowledge, successes, lessons learned, and best practices with peers across teams
• 6+ years experience in a related role, involving enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales across large customer accounts
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
• Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model
• Ability to demonstrate complex software applications
• Demonstrated experience navigating and delivering sales success across large, enterprise organizations
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business challenges
• Executive presence and ability to communicate at the most senior level
• Ability to identify and understand influencers versus buyers and navigate their nuances during the sales cycle
• Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
• Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value
• Capability for achieving and exceeding sales quota targets
• Reliable internet access when working remotely outside a Workiva office
• Up to 30% travel for regular customer meetings and events
• Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
