Cloud Engineer – Senior

• Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of production environments
• Continuously improve infrastructure, automation, observability, and deployment processes
• Prevent, respond to, and investigate incidents, including root-cause analysis and action plans
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to evolve application architecture, resilience, and operability
• Reduce manual work and toil through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and pipelines
• Support capacity planning, cost management, operational risk management, and continuity of cloud environments
• Identify recurring operational issues and turn them into automation and structural improvements
• Work autonomously in critical production environments, troubleshoot issues, lead incidents, and make technical decisions

• Senior-level experience with strong AWS expertise
• AWS: solid experience in production and highly available environments
• Hands-on knowledge of EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, NAT Gateways, and load balancers
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Strong foundation in Linux, networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with containers, Docker, and orchestrated environments
• CI/CD: experience with pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary, and rollback
• Experience with observability, including metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and alerts
• Knowledge of infrastructure security, IAM, and access management
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations during one Saturday per month
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience
