App Store Optimization Manager – Organic Growth

• Own keyword research, mapping, and prioritisation across all live locales on Google Play and the App Store
• Own indexable metadata, including Play title, short and long descriptions, App Store name, subtitle, and keyword field
• Build and maintain keyword-to-ranking-to-install reporting
• Run continuous conversion-rate testing through Google Play Store Listing Experiments, iOS Product Page Optimization, and Custom Product Pages
• Own creative briefs for icons, screenshots, and preview videos, deciding what to test and why
• Build and target Custom Store Listings and Custom Product Pages for distinct search and campaign intents
• Manage rating average, review velocity, and review sentiment as growth inputs
• Track and escalate Android vitals and store policy risks affecting ranking eligibility
• Work with the paid agency partner on ASO-adjacent initiatives so paid and organic acquisition reinforce each other
• Determine when growth problems are not solvable through ASO

• 3+ years of hands-on ASO ownership for a consumer mobile app
• Experience with at least one app with meaningful scale (100k+ installs/year or equivalent)
• Genuine fluency with Google Play Console and App Store Connect
• Experience running experiments, reading confidence intervals, and distinguishing noise from meaningful results
• Working knowledge of at least one professional ASO toolset (AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, Asodesk, MobileAction or similar)
• Ability to pull, join and interrogate install, conversion and retention data independently
• Statistical literacy sufficient to evaluate store listing tests
• Multi-locale experience, ideally including markets the candidate does not personally speak
• Business-level English
• Experience in education, edtech, or subscription-based consumer apps is nice to have
• Familiarity with MMP attribution (Singular) is nice to have
• Hungarian or experience with CEE markets is nice to have
• Understanding of the trial-to-paid subscription funnel and store traffic quality is nice to have
