Software Quality Engineer – M/F/D

• Ensure and continuously improve technical software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Establish company-wide code quality practices for PHP, ideally Yii2, and Node.js
• Further develop code review processes, review criteria, and quality standards
• Administer and optimize SonarQube, Quality Profiles, and Quality Gates
• Integrate static code analysis, security scans, and quality metrics into CI/CD processes
• Automate quality checks across build, test, and deployment processes
• Analyze technical debt, quality risks, and security vulnerabilities
• Define and consistently track improvement measures
• Prepare quality metrics for relevant stakeholders
• Support architecture, security, and quality reviews
• Advise development teams and business units on code quality, maintainability, and technical excellence

• Several years of relevant professional experience in software quality, software development, or Quality Engineering
• Several years of in-depth software development experience with PHP, ideally Yii2, as well as Node.js
• Practical experience with SonarQube, static code analysis, Quality Profiles, and Quality Gates
• Experience integrating quality and security checks into CI/CD pipelines and build, test, and deployment processes
• Knowledge of established secure coding principles, application security requirements, and methods for analyzing technical debt
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Clear, concise, audience-appropriate communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate and assertively drive initiatives forward
• Self-motivation, sense of responsibility, and high standards for technical excellence and sustainable software quality
• Fluency in German
• Very good command of English
