Data Engineer III

• Build and enhance data pipelines (ETL/ELT), developing automated, reliable, and scalable workflows
• Participate in migrating CRM pipelines to the new data architecture
• Model and make data available for segmentation and personalization across analytical layers
• Document and make data available with appropriate frequency and latency for batch loads and near-real-time use cases
• Define and monitor data contracts, SLAs, owners, and quality criteria
• Prevent and resolve failures that could affect campaigns and analytics
• Build monitoring, telemetry, and alerting to proactively detect issues
• Support the integration of the data environment with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Amplitude, and other automation and engagement tools
• Support journey operations and workflow cleanup
• Optimize processing performance and costs
• Document solutions, support colleagues, and contribute to best practices and the team's growth

• Proficiency in SQL (modeling, procedures, DML, DDL, and pipelines) and Python
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data lake/lakehouse architectures
• Databricks experience is a plus
• Experience with GCP (BigQuery) is also welcome
• Experience orchestrating pipelines using Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or equivalent tools
• Software engineering best practices: version control (Git), testing, code review, and documentation
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and observability practices (contracts, monitoring, and alerting)
• Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Amplitude, customer segmentation concepts, and CDPs
• Preferred: knowledge of the payments market and financial products
