Account Manager – Medical DACH & Eastern Europe

About the role

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic healthcare customer relationships worth approximately €10 million in annual revenue
• Build relationships with purchasing, technical, and executive stakeholders
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions
• Understand customer priorities, market challenges, and growth plans
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and profitability
• Identify opportunities for new applications, products, services, and business within existing and prospective accounts
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Technical Service, Operations, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams
• Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and customer presentations
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
• Manage and resolve product, quality, service, and supply-related issues
• Champion customer projects from concept through commercialization
• Own forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance reporting
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities
• Drive customer retention, profitability improvements, and long-term strategic partnerships

• Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
• Experience within healthcare packaging, pharmaceutical, medical device, packaging, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable
• Proven track record of managing strategic customer relationships and delivering commercial growth
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and closing business opportunities
• Fluent German and English (essential)
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
