Industry Technical Consultant – Water Treatment, Closed Loop Systems, Chemical Engineering

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems
• Support business growth, drive innovation, and transfer technical knowledge to customers
• Provide practical technical leadership across customer applications, internal projects, and innovation programs
• Troubleshoot complex closed loop and thermal management challenges
• Train technical audiences and recommend operational improvements
• Support validation of new technologies
• Collaborate with field sales and corporate account teams on strategic technical sales opportunities
• Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling applications, including commissioning, cold plates, cooling distribution units, secondary loops, and infrastructure interfaces
• Understand client requirements and recommend treatment and operational solutions
• Provide customer training and support for system use and optimization
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts at customer sites
• Assess water treatment programs and document operational efficiency improvement projects
• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects from ideation to launch
• Complete Phase Gate milestones, including value propositions, operational savings, technical documentation, and stakeholder education
• Lead innovation pilot applications, technical trials, and market trials
• Facilitate training for associates and customers
• Coach individuals on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation

• Demonstrable technical expertise in closed loop systems, water treatment, thermal management, process engineering, HVAC, industrial cooling, data center infrastructure, or adjacent technical fields
• Ability to apply technical principles across chemistry, materials compatibility, fluid selection, heat transfer, automation, digital monitoring, equipment, and engineered solutions
• Willing and able to travel throughout Europe to customer sites
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Microbiology) is listed as a preferred qualification
• 5+ years experience in closed loop water treatment, glycol-based systems, thermal management, data center infrastructure, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, or adjacent cooling and heat transfer applications
• Strong problem solving mindset and approach
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented professional able to work with minimum direction
• Excellent team orientation, proactivity, and sense of urgency
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
