Data Engineer

• Support the identification, analysis, and interpretation of trends or patterns in complex datasets
• Develop and implement data models, including ER models, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow
• Execute advanced ETL/ELT processes with Python, Apache Spark, Sqoop, Scala, Databricks, and SQL
• Manage code versioning using Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Terraform (IaC)
• Work with components in AWS/Azure cloud environments
• Optimize scripts, data components, and queries
• Filter and cleanse data by reviewing reports and performance and quality indicators
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
• Develop and implement dashboards
• Present data graphically through data visualization and storytelling
• Support the definition and documentation of architecture roadmaps and standards
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Provide support to project teams and other members of the department
• Comply with procedures, legal requirements, standards, instructions, and Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or Information Systems (required)
• 5 years of professional experience
• Databricks — advanced level (preferred)
• Data Engineering, Big Data, or Analytics — advanced level (preferred)
• Basic English proficiency
• Technical knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data mining
• Data collection, organization, and analysis skills
• Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Scala, and Java
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Knowledge of data visualization and storytelling techniques
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Lean, and Kanban
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms
• Basic understanding of mathematical and statistical calculations
• Knowledge of Big Data, BI, data warehousing, and ETL
• Understanding of data architecture designs
• Knowledge of observability tools
