Senior Java Developer

• Develop Java systems
• Provide support for Java systems

• Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban)
• Knowledge of Java EE/J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, Hibernate, and JPA
• Experience with Apache Struts 1.x and Struts 2
• Configuration and maintenance of legacy applications
• Creation of Actions, Interceptors, Validators, and Tiles
• Customization of frameworks and components
• Integration with ORM frameworks and service layers
• Experience migrating and modernizing Struts applications to more current architectures
• Knowledge of the Spring Framework (MVC, Data, Batch, and REST)
• Strong knowledge of developing systems with distributed, resilient, scalable, and high-performance architectures
• Experience with version control in Azure
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Knowledge of design patterns and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Experience with containers (Docker and OpenShift) is a plus
