Data Engineer, Foundational Data Mesh

• Organize, collect, and process large volumes of data using ETL tools.
• Translate the client's business objectives into an information management and business intelligence strategy.
• Maintain data pipelines.
• Ensure secure access to information.
• Create and expose metrics and dashboards based on the collected data.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.

• Mid-level/Senior professional working with Data/AWS.
• Experience collecting, transforming, and loading data using ETL tools.
• Knowledge of AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, SNS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of data modeling and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Hadoop.
• Knowledge of Python/PySpark.
• Experience performing unit and performance testing.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Data Engineer certifications are a plus.
• Experience with data quality and observability is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudWatch is a plus.
