Senior IT Systems Engineer, Linux

• Operation and administration of Linux-based customer systems, including the services and applications running on them
• Compliance with ITIL/ITSM processes within the agreed SLAs
• Participation in a rotating on-call schedule and team shift work
• Further development of Ansible-based automation for rollouts, patching, and provisioning
• Use of the internal AI infrastructure to automate IT operations (AIOps)
• Identification and elimination of repetitive manual processes
• Independent planning and implementation of changes within the ITIL framework
• Customer communication regarding maintenance activities and incidents
• Coordination with internal teams such as Service Desk, Product Delivery, and Change Management, as well as external service providers

• Successfully completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration or Application Development, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience working with Linux operating systems and the services running on them
• In-depth, several years of experience with operating-system-level and middleware components such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, nginx, Exim, Postfix, MySQL/MariaDB/Galera, and PostgreSQL
• Several years of experience with one or more Linux distributions, such as Debian, RHEL, SLES, or Ubuntu
• Understanding of container concepts and technologies
• Experience with scripting languages, including Perl, Python, and Bash
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Curiosity about using AI and AI agents in IT operations; initial experience in this area is desirable
