Social Media & Content Manager – Part-time
About the role
• Own and manage Zipdev’s organic content strategy and monthly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and potentially additional platforms
• Work directly with the CEO to uncover stories, opinions, client pain points, recruiting lessons, data, industry trends, and experiences
• Coordinate and lead recurring content sessions once or twice per month for batch content creation
• Prepare topics, questions, hooks, and ideas proactively
• Remotely direct recordings and guide framing, lighting, audio, delivery, and pacing
• Interview team members, clients, or subject-matter experts to uncover stories
• Monitor social trends and recommend formats, topics, platforms, and experiments
• Edit raw video into polished short-form social content
• Repurpose long-form recordings into content across platforms and formats
• Identify hooks, stories, quotes, and insights in raw conversations and footage
• Write authentic posts and captions in the CEO’s and Zipdev’s voice
• Repurpose ideas into LinkedIn posts, Reels, carousels, graphics, quote posts, and other formats
• Create social graphics, thumbnails, covers, and carousels as needed
• Use AI and creative tools to improve research, ideation, editing, writing, and productivity
• Manage day-to-day publishing across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
• Manage scheduling, formatting, tagging, distribution, and content organization
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and new followers
• Engage with the audience and identify potential clients, candidates, partners, and valuable relationships
• Surface high-value conversations for CEO or team-member engagement
• Track performance and recommend content adjustments based on data
• Focus on organic content and audience growth, not paid advertising
• Previous experience managing organic social media and content for a founder, executive, company, agency, or personal brand
• Demonstrated experience building or operating a repeatable content engine
• Strong hands-on experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
• Experience turning raw or long-form video into engaging short-form content
• Intermediate video editing skills and ability to take content from raw footage to finished post
• Strong writing skills and ability to learn and maintain another person’s voice
• Strong understanding of storytelling, hooks, pacing, and audience engagement
• Comfortable directing content remotely and working directly with senior leadership
• Experience with social scheduling, publishing, analytics, and tools such as Meta Business Suite
• Comfortable using AI tools in content creation
• Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, curious, and comfortable working independently
• Strong English communication and writing skills
• Strong understanding of U.S. business culture and ability to create content resonating with U.S.-based business owners, executives, and hiring leaders
• Graphic design skills and experience creating social graphics, carousels, and thumbnails (nice to have)
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools (nice to have)
• Experience with founder-led or executive thought leadership (nice to have)
• Proven experience growing an audience organically (nice to have)
• Experience turning social engagement into conversations, relationships, or inbound opportunities (nice to have)
• Familiarity with B2B services, recruiting, staffing, remote work, entrepreneurship, or founder-led brands (nice to have)
• Share examples of relevant managed accounts, edited videos, written social copy, visual content, and results
• Be prepared to explain your specific role in producing submitted results
• Work remotely (20 hours a week)
