About the role
• Contribute to an R&D project led by the Capgemini Invent Lab
• Participate in Data Engineering and GenAI / Agentic Engineering consulting engagements for Capgemini Invent clients
• Build data pipelines for collecting, organizing, and modeling high-volume data
• Perform document ingestion and parsing, chunking, embedding generation, and indexing in vector databases
• Deploy complex infrastructures using infrastructure as code and continuous integration and deployment, on cloud providers or on premises
• Deploy data and AI stacks, including data storage, model serving, LLM gateways, and agent orchestration
• Design and industrialize LLM applications, RAG and advanced RAG architectures, and multi-agent systems with LangGraph
• Implement agent tooling, context and memory management, and select models based on cost, latency, and data sovereignty requirements
• Build evaluation datasets and metrics for relevance, hallucinations, cost, and latency
• Set up production tracing and monitoring, and implement security, privacy, and AI Act compliance guardrails
• Design, develop, and containerize REST API back-end applications incorporating data, AI, or LLM agents
• Design the end-to-end architecture of data and AI stacks, taking security, scalability, auditability, and availability into account
• Maintain technology watch on the GenAI and agentic ecosystem and share technological expertise
• Currently in the final year of an engineering school or a Master’s degree (five-year higher education program) in computer science, data science, or artificial intelligence
• Strong theoretical knowledge of data processing, data storage (databases, data lakes, and data warehouses), and data transport (batch and streaming)
• Ability to develop in Python and deliver clean, documented, testable, and maintainable code
• Initial knowledge of LLMs and GenAI—including prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, and agent orchestration concepts—acquired through an academic or personal project or an internship
