Senior Software Engineer – Mobile

• Handle ambiguous problems and challenging prioritization, balancing deadlines and quality
• Influence team decision-making regarding solution details
• Help the team solve complex problems and discover solutions
• Provide constructive suggestions and feedback to disseminate technical knowledge
• Ensure product/platform quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices

• Build knowledge of the company’s strategic and operational plans
• Provide visibility into work and progress
• Define, collect, analyze, and track application/product health metrics
• Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and refinement sessions
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the mobile platform, processes, and developer experience
• Work on major cross-functional projects with the Interaction Platform team, supporting the company’s platform enablement efforts and mobile development best practices

• Proven experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) is essential
• Strong experience in Android development, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and code design
• Knowledge of module architecture and componentization
• Knowledge of unit, integration, and functional testing
• Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and debugging systems
• Ability to integrate RESTful APIs, cloud services (such as Firebase), local and remote data storage, authentication, and push notifications
• Knowledge of CI/CD structures and automated pipelines
• Experience publishing apps to the Play Store and/or App Store
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to influence priority-setting and estimate timelines together with the team
• Experience working in robust and scalable architecture environments
• Ability to communicate concisely, candidly, and clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Experience developing Design Systems is a plus
• Experience with digital financial products and/or large-scale apps is a plus
