Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI

• Design, build, and own AI agents and LLM-powered software products end-to-end
• Lead technical design of agentic systems and workflows using LLMs and ML models
• Integrate agents with Tealium data and configuration systems and internal/external parties through APIs and MCP
• Add prompt-injection defenses, PII controls, output validation, and human-in-the-loop gates for security and compliance
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to identify customer value opportunities using AI
• Drive AI expertise, participate in peer reviews, and set standards for building LLM systems
• Set and supervise technical direction
• Review other engineers' designs and improve team use of AI development tools

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java
• Proven experience shipping LLM-powered features to production at scale
• Knowledge of modern software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with RAG workflows, including chunking, embeddings, and retrieval from relational and vector databases
• Experience deploying software on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
• Desire to learn new technologies, products, and business areas
• Domain expertise in martech, marketing analytics, or customer data platforms
• Understanding of traditional statistical ML models and libraries
• Experience building Data/Analytics/ML pipelines on Spark, Databricks, or similar
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
