AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

• Develop and solve problems while creating easy and intuitive digital products
• Work on innovative projects for leading companies around the world
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and product development teams
• Build orchestration and backend APIs using .NET/C#
• Develop and integrate generative AI solutions for summarisation, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription
• Apply RAG and AI search patterns
• Deploy and integrate AI models into production APIs, pipelines, or backend systems
• Use Agentic AI tools to accelerate code development, refactoring, and complex debugging
• Engage in day-to-day management and human interaction
• Participate in mentoring, performance appraisals, and team knowledge-sharing events

• 3+ years of working experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related software engineering roles
• Academic background in Computer Science, Data science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
• Strong professional experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), including building orchestration and backend APIs
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models (GPT-4o-level)
• Experience with generative AI for summarisation, extraction, filtering, speech-to-text/transcription pipelines, such as Whisper.NET and Azure Cognitive Services/Speech
• Experience with RAG and AI search patterns
• Outstanding proficiency in using Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot
• Excellent understanding of Transformer-based model architectures and general Machine Learning principles
• Experience deploying or integrating AI models into production environments, APIs, pipelines, or backend systems
• Analytical mind with a strong problem-solving aptitude
• Experience collaborating with engineering and product development teams
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Must live in Portugal or be willing and legally qualified to live and work there
