Senior Data Scientist

• Lead and architect research for new GenAI agents and LLMs, setting the team's technical direction
• Drive innovation in LLM applications, including reasoning, summarization, and interactivity
• Make strategic decisions about GenAI model architectures, training approaches, and deployment strategies
• Mentor and guide Data Scientists while fostering engineering excellence
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with senior leadership to align technical strategy with business goals
• Represent CrowdStrike's technical excellence through publications, speaking engagements, and thought leadership
• Establish best practices, technical standards, and evaluation frameworks for the team

• 8+ years of applied machine learning / research experience, with demonstrated leadership in developing production-grade models
• Deep expertise in LLM training / deployment at scale
• Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring teams and driving technical strategy
• Advanced knowledge of Python, Deep Learning frameworks, and cloud technologies
• Expert-level understanding of GPU technologies and optimization techniques
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Track record of solving complex technical challenges at scale
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is a bonus
• Patents or significant intellectual property contributions in AI is a bonus
• Strong research portfolio with publications in leading AI journals and conferences is a bonus
• Experience with cybersecurity applications of machine learning is a bonus
• Track record of successful research-to-production implementations at scale is a bonus
• History of contributions to open-source ML projects is a bonus
