Senior Software Engineer – COE Lead

• Manage and develop professionals within the discipline
• Provide technical mentorship, career development, continuous learning, and talent retention
• Define and maintain software engineering standards, frameworks, best practices, and guidelines
• Lead and structure the Development Center of Excellence
• Build and monitor the discipline’s technical roadmap
• Evaluate and promote the adoption of new technologies, tools, and certifications
• Support the adoption and evolution of SAI App 3.0
• Support team allocation, capacity planning, and team composition strategies
• Collaborate with Client Faces and various stakeholders
• Serve as a technical and people leader within the Center of Excellence
• Ensure the ongoing development of professionals, excellence in competencies, and the formation of teams aligned with the needs of each project and client

• Solid experience in Back-end and/or Front-end development
• Proficiency in at least one of the leading technology stacks: Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript, with the ability to work in multi-stack environments
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integrations
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern software engineering practices
• Proficiency in Clean Code, automated testing, and Code Review
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
• Ability to define standards and lead technical governance processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with leadership and Client Faces
• Experience with pricing and the development of technical proposals
• Experience estimating project requirements, considering effort, seniority, competencies, and team composition
• Knowledge of and experience with AI applied to software development
• Experience with code copilots
• Experience with AI-assisted code generation
• Experience with AI-assisted refactoring
• Knowledge of prompt engineering
• Advanced English or Spanish proficiency
• Mobile development experience (a plus)
• Experience with legacy system modernization projects (a plus)
• Experience working in large-scale environments and technology transformation initiatives (a plus)
