Software Engineer – Node.js, Python, Go

• Design, build, and run scalable systems in production
• Take ownership of projects end to end rather than tickets
• Build full-stack and platform engineering solutions
• Develop human-in-the-loop platforms, fraud detection systems, data infrastructure, and complex operational workflows
• Solve scalability and reliability problems
• Work directly with research, product, and design to ship quickly while maintaining quality
• Contribute to core infrastructure used across the company

• Strong coding fundamentals in Node.js and TypeScript, Python, and/or Go
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability challenges, and system design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms — GCP or AWS — plus Kubernetes, APIs, and NoSQL databases
• Ability to reason about trade-offs and balance speed against reliability under pressure
• An active GitHub with real, substantive projects
• Proactive approach to identifying problems and driving solutions
• Strong bias toward simple solutions to complex problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Clear, compelling answer to why you want to join a startup and work in this space
• Background as a founding engineer at a high-growth startup (nice-to-have)
• Experience as an ex-founder of a technically sophisticated product (nice-to-have)
