Institute of Free Technology

Institute of Free Technology is a mission-driven tech startup studio that incubates and accelerates startups building public goods to defend digital liberties. It provides financial, technical, legal, people-operations, and brand support to take projects from concept to market, with a focus on liberty, censorship resistance, security, privacy, and inclusivity. Emerging from the Status project, IFT supports and connects teams working on privacy-preserving communication, decentralised infrastructure, and tools that safeguard civil liberties in the digital age.
