The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP)

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is a collaborative movement dedicated to unlocking green energy access worldwide to ensure an inclusive and resilient future. With billions living in energy poverty, GEAPP focuses on expanding access to affordable, reliable, and clean electricity, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and foster progress across emerging economies. Formed with the support of philanthropic entities like the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bezos Earth Fund, GEAPP collaborates with governments, communities, and the private sector to drive long-term transformations in energy accessibility. They work globally, with projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, striving to accelerate the renewable energy transition and achieve critical climate goals.
