Latinos for Education

Latinos for Education is the first Latino-founded and led national organization dedicated to creating leadership pathways for Latinos in the education sector. It focuses on increasing access to and creating more equitable pathways for Latino children by positioning Latino leaders to influence and serve Latino students and families. Founded by Amanda Fernández, the organization emphasizes the importance of Latino role models and works towards educational equity for Latino students, who constitute a significant portion of the US student population. It manages programs like the Aspiring Latino Leaders Fellowship and advocates for policies through initiatives such as the Educator Diversity Act.
